• Matthew Elliott, 35, of County Road 804, Etowah, was arrested on July 2 by the Athens Police Department and charged with aggravated burglary, theft of property under $1,000 and simple possession of marijuana. He was being held on $17,000 bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 3.

• Brandon Rickheim, 24, of Palos St., Athens, was arrested on July 2 by the Athens Police Department and charged with failure to appear and three counts of aggravated domestic assault. He was being held on $45,000 bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 3.

• Krystal Anders, 34, of Wolf Creek Rd., Mineral Bluff, Ga., was arrested on July 2 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with possession of a schedule II drug for resale, possession of a schedule VI drug, possession of a schedule IV drug, possession of a schedule II drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was being held on $63,000 bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 3.

• Gary James Hill, 29, of Frontier Rd., Sweetwater, was arrested on July 2 by the Etowah Police Department and charged with theft over $1,000, felony vandalism and parole violation. He was being held on $1,000 bond for Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC) officials.

• Brandon Wright, 29, of County Road 725, Riceville, was arrested on July 2 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with violation of state probation and resisting arrest. He was being held on $500 bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 3.

• Christopher Brian Moser, 36, of N. Jackson St., Athens, was arrested on July 3 by the Athens Police Department and charged with theft of a motor vehicle, assault by domestic and two counts of driving on a suspended license. He was being held on $18,500 bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 3.

• James William Craton, 30, of Frost Rd., Bowden, Ga., was arrested on July 3 by the Englewood Police Department and charged with possession of a schedule VI drug for resale. He was released on $9,000 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on July 6.

• Cameron Dwight Merrell, 32, of County Road 660, Etowah, was arrested on July 3 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with public intoxication. He was released on $500 bond and no court date was listed.

• Brenda Gail Pirkle, 47, of Highway 411N, Etowah, was arrested on July 3 by the Etowah Police Department and charged with driving under the influence and reckless endangerment. She was released on $2,000 bond and no court date was listed.

• Danny Jerome Johnson, 62, of Main St., Madisonville, was arrested on July 3 by the Athens Police Department and charged with driving under the influence and violation of the implied consent law. He was being held on $2,000 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on July 6.

• Christopher R. Grayson, 32, of Cannon Ave., Sweetwater, was arrested on July 4 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with aggravated domestic assault. He was being held on $30,000 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on July 6.

• Mildred Lynn Smith, 38, of Ivory Rd., Athens, was arrested on July 4 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with burglary and a warrant out of Monroe County for theft. She was being held on $5,000 bond for Monroe County authorities and faces a date in General Sessions Court on July 6.

• Danny Ray Roberts, 65, of Atlanta Ave., Chattanooga, was arrested on July 4 by the Englewood Police Department and charged with driving under the influence and violation of the implied consent law. He was being held on $2,000 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on July 6

• Logan Blake Shamblin, 30, of County Road 318, Niota, was arrested on July 4 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with aggravated assault by domestic and interference with 911. He was being held on $16,000 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on July 6.
