He was released on $10,500 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• Christopher R. Young, 38, of 224 Ray Rd., Sweetwater, was arrested on April 3 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with first degree murder. He was being held on $150,000 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• Juan Vasquez, 36, of 923 Moore St., Athens, was arrested on April 3 by the Athens Police Department and charged with domestic assault. He was being held on $1,000 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• Joseph C. Lowe, 33, of 605 Virginia Ave., Athens, was arrested on April 4 by the Athens Police Department and charged with vandalism, disorderly conduct, theft of property and vandalism. He was being held on $6,500 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• David Sylvester, 33, of 204 Pond St., Englewood, was arrested on April 4 by the Englewood Police Department and charged with assault by domestic violence. He was released on $500 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• Chase McAllister, 18, of 467 County Road 788, Etowah, was arrested on April 4 by the Tennessee Highway Patrol and charged with driving under the influence, possession of a stolen handgun, violation of the open container law and theft/possession of stolen property. He was released on $3,000 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• Jennifer Firmingham, 46, of 1359 County Road 609, Etowah, was arrested on April 4 by the Tennessee Highway Patrol and charged with driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license. She was released on $2,000 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• Roy W. Thompson Jr., 33, with no address listed, was arrested on April 4 by the Niota Police Department and charged with reckless endangerment, felony evading, driving on a revoked license, possession of a schedule VI drug for resale, leaving the scene of an accident and vandalism. He was being held on $61,500 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• Katlyn York, 22, with no address listed, was arrested on April 4 by the Niota Police Department and charged with being an accessory after the fact. She was being held on $5,000 bond and no court date was listed.

• Robert Vann, 49, of 2349 Highway 411S., Delano, was arrested on April 4 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with domestic assault. He was released on $500 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• Ronald H. Patterson, 45, of 1728 Garden Dr. Apt. 401, Athens, was arrested on April 5 by the Athens Police Department and charged with domestic assault. He was being held on $500 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• John H. Ridge, 60, of 303 Pennsylvania Ave., Etowah, was arrested on April 5 by the Etowah Police Department and charged with domestic assault. He was released on $500 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.

• Tracy Kimsey, 49, of 303 Pennsylvania Ave., Etowah, was arrested on April 5 by the Etowah Police Department and charged with domestic assault. She was being held on $500 bond and faces a date in General Sessions Court on May 1.
