• Brittney Cook, 25, of Athens Pike, Etowah, was arrested on July 26 by the Athens Police Department and charged with failure to appear. She was released to Bradley County authorities.

• Dustin Keith, 27, of County Road 922, Athens, was arrested on July 26 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with a capias and a bench warrant. He was being held without bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 27.

• Plaise Spangler, 42, of County Road 132, Athens, was arrested on July 27 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with prohibited weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a schedule II drug. He was being held on $8,000 bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 27.

• Gabriel Dimetris Porter, 28, of Union Rd., Athens, was arrested on July 27 by the Athens Police Department and charged with aggravated assault and evading arrest. He was being held on $17,000 bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 28.

• Michael Allen Ware, 36, of County Road 757, Riceville, was arrested on July 27 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with violation of state probation. He was being held on a $1,000 cash bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 28.

• Terrie Rhonda Bryson, 39, of 3rd St., Etowah, was arrested on July 27 by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with felony evading, driving on a revoked license and unlawful drug paraphernalia. She was being held on $7,000 bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 28.

• Joseph Carl Lowe, 33, of Virginia Ave., Athens, was arrested on July 27 by the Athens Police Department and charged with vandalism under $1,000, theft of gas and domestic assault. He was being held $4,000 bond and faced a date in General Sessions Court on July 28.
