Michael Odoran Crockett, 86, of Englewood passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, surrounded by his family. He retired from Lockheed Martin after 32 years of service. He enjoyed farming, gardening, and raising cattle. After his retirement, he took up flea marketing. He loved life, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Crockett; parents, William and Bula Sue Crockett; and sister, Ella Crockett. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Lara Crockett; daughter, Crystal Cox; grandchildren, April Cox, Logan Crockett, and Tyler Crockett; great-grandchild, Yasmine Abboud; sister, Nona Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to American Legion of Etowah Post 11, c/o Wes Teague, 358 County Rd. 656, Athens, TN 37303. A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Bordwine Funeral Home. Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.
