Anna Mae Stone Studdard, 97, of Etowah, passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Ethel “Davis” Stone; husband, Herman Studdard; son, John, and infant son, James; grandson, Greg Studdard; sister, Ruth Loftis; and brothers, M.L., Ruben, Parnick, Hubert (Tub), and Roy Stone. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Dub Smith; daughter-in-law, Cindy Moses; grandsons, Chad (Kristy) Smith, Kevin (Holly) Smith, and Davis (Miranda) Studdard; great-grandchildren, Drew, Grant, Riley and Talon Smith; brothers, Kenneth (Mary) and Ray (Hazel) Stone; and sister-in-law, Eva Jean Stone. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Stone and Danny Stone officiating. Family received friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. Burial followed in Green Hill Cemetery. Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah was in charge of arrangements.
