Local scouts inducted into Order of the Arrow

For over 100 years, the Order of the Arrow (OA) has recognized scouts and scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long-term resident camping, and providing service to others. The Order of the Arrow has more than 160,000 active members located in lodges affiliated with over 270 Boy Scouts of America local councils. As of August 2018, there is an OA lodge in every council across the United States. Local scouts were recently inducted into the OA. They included (pictured here, from left) Tony Hulslander, new member from Troop 118 Athens; Forrest McCutcheon, staff for the OA weekend; Trevor Currier, new member from Troop 118 Athens; and Cashton McConkey, new member from Troop 10 Madisonville.
