Local DAR members attend state conference

The Alexander Keith Chapter NSDAR recently attended the Tennessee Society DAR 116th Conference in Franklin. It was a hybrid meeting with in-person and virtual attendance. Greetings were presented from state regents across the United States. Workshops included Charles Sherrill on “Patriot Paths: TN Revolutionary War Trails,” genealogy research and “Histories & Mysteries of Our House Beautiful” DAR’s Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Highlights were a keynote by Beth Harwell, 81st Tennessee Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Tom Tudor, a tomb sentinel at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Shown here are (from left) Teresa Littleton, Mary Ellen Nolletti, Doris Arnold, Sally Mayrhofer and Becky Edwards, Alexander Keith’s newest member.
