The Tennessee Department of Health has released its latest statistics related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, Tennessee has compiled a total of 266,357 cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 3,454 fatalities with 3,719,198 tests completed.

McMinn County has 1,773 total cases with 189 active cases and 41 fatalities reported out of 24,076 total tests. Meigs County has 353 cases with 53 active cases and eight fatalities out of 4,455 total tests.

McMinn borders the following counties: Monroe (1,563 cases); Loudon (1,742); Bradley (3,823); Meigs (353) and Polk (552).

Meigs shares a border with the following counties: Roane (1,535 cases); Hamilton (12,532); Bradley (3,823); McMinn (1,773) and Rhea (1,187).

The Tennessee counties with 2,000 or more reported cases are Blount (3,662); Bradley (3,823); Coffee (2,095); Davidson (33,627); Dyer (2,440); Gibson (2,276); Greene (2,038); Hamblen (2,620); Hamilton (12,532); Knox (13,747); Madison (4,008); Maury (3,832); Montgomery (4,534); Putnam (4,690); Robertson (2,731); Rutherford (12,822); Sevier (3,601); Shelby (38,333); Sullivan (4,242); Sumner (6,639); Tipton (2,566); Washington (4,069); Williamson (7,697); and Wilson (5,114).
