The Tennessee Department of Health has released its latest statistics related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, Tennessee has compiled a total of 235,861 cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 2,970 fatalities. A total of 3,404,261 tests have been completed so far.

McMinn County has 1,542 total cases with 228 active cases and 32 fatalities reported out of 21,927 total tests. Meigs County has 297 cases with 45 active cases and five fatalities out of 4,048 total tests.

McMinn shares a border with the following affected counties: Monroe (1,382 cases); Loudon (1,556); Bradley (3,447); Meigs (297) and Polk (476). Meigs shares a border with the following affected counties: Roane (1,224 cases); Hamilton (11,289); Bradley (3,447); McMinn (1,542) and Rhea (1,059).
