The Tennessee Department of Health has released its latest statistics related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. As of 3 p.m. Saturday, Tennessee has compiled a total of 260,672 cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 3,353 fatalities. A total of 3,657,005 tests have been completed so far.

McMinn County has 1,744 total cases with 197 active cases and 39 fatalities reported out of 23,680 total tests. Meigs County has 339 cases with 46 active cases and six fatalities out of 4,367 total tests.

McMinn shares a border with the following affected counties: Monroe (1,546 cases); Loudon (1,711); Bradley (3,753); Meigs (339) and Polk (542). Meigs shares a border with the following affected counties: Roane (1,460 cases); Hamilton (12,300); Bradley (3,753); McMinn (1,744) and Rhea (1,165).
