The Tennessee Department of Health has released its latest statistics related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, Tennessee has compiled a total of 760,303 cases (+780) of coronavirus (COVID-19) and a resulting 10,985 fatalities (+31) with 6,634,437 tests (+7,904) completed.

McMinn County has reported 5,787 total cases, which is an increase of 13 over the previous update.

There are currently 194 active cases as well, a decrease of nine, out of 43,996 total tests, which is up by 143. There have been 88 fatalities reported — no change since the previous update.

Meigs County has reported 1,243 total cases, an increase of four since the previous update.

There are currently 24 active cases as well, a decrease of five since the previous update, out of 8,547 total tests, which went up by 16.

There have been 20 fatalities reported — no change since the previous update.

McMinn borders the following counties: Monroe (5,168 cases); Loudon (5,512); Bradley (12,508); Meigs (1,243) and Polk (1,696).

Meigs shares a border with the following counties: Roane (5,699 cases); Hamilton (39,277); Bradley (12,508); McMinn (5,787) and Rhea (4,079).
