Meigs County will hold a public
hearing on the State of
Tennessee’s 2023 Food
Insecurity Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program at 10:00 AM EST in
the Pete Jennings Commission
Room at Meigs County Courthouse at 17214 TN-58,
Decatur, TN 37322 on Friday
January 13 th , 2023. The purpose of this meeting is to
discuss potential projects the
County may apply for under the
CDBG Food Insecurity
program. CDBG Food Insecurity
Projects funds may be used for
equipment, and other
non-construction activities to increase capacity to distribute
food for the citizens in the
county. Anyone with disabilities
