Jill Conley has a story to tell…and it is
AMAZING. What she wants people to take
Any woman who is going through cancer
treatments and dealing with the body
changes that come with that, should be
made to feel beautiful, comforted and
supported. And, that by feeling beautiful
they can confront anything.
She'll be telling her story (and giving
encouragement) at the 4th Annual Think
Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon
coming up on October 22.
A Little of Jill's Background:
Jill was diagnosed with Stage IIIC
invasive breast cancer one day before her
32nd birthday on July 15th, 2009 – just 6
months after she married the man of her
dreams. Her journey began with the most
progressive form of treatment available.
After two years, Jill was deemed to be in
remission. Then, twelve months later, Jill
found out she had developed bone cancer
and at 35 years old, the prognosis is
In September 2012, world-acclaimed
portrait photographer Sue Bryce was so
overwhelmed with Jill's story and the
message she arranged to photograph Jill
in Paris. She created a photo story of Jill
and a documentary was also produced by
Hailey Bartholomew. The fi lm's title is
"The Light that Shines."
Jill will talk about having the photos
made and her goal to bring empowerment
to women all over the world.
Over the past year, Jill has traveled all
over the country to speak to groups and
appeared on several national television
programs, including The Today Show.
