Meigs bats silent in season-ending loss

DECATUR - Meigs County\'s season-long struggle with the bats finally caught up with the Lady Tigers and it couldn\'t have come at a worse time.
East Ridge pitcher Ashley Irvin struck out 10, scattered five hits and provided the go-ahead run with a solo home run in the fifth inning to give the Lady Pioneers a 2-1 victory over Meigs County in the Region 3-AA tournament semifinal game on Tuesday.

Track athletes in state meet
