In this week’s edition of Sound Off Online, a reader voiced concern about the upcoming sales tax vote in Athens. Athens is seeing the looming sales and property tax increases for their future. Our city schools should have been tightening their belts and budget. If I can read information in Friday's tax, the city manager and city council have committed to both increases. I disagree. Stop this.
