James Ray Grayson, 75, of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at the family residence. He was the son of the late Ike and Addaline Grayson and was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Grayson; his son, Punk Grayson; and his brother, Frank Grayson. Mr. Grayson was a longtime mechanic working with several different garages, but mainly working for himself. He loved building trucks and rail buggies. He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Grayson and Cindy Grayson; and his grandson, Will White. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel. The interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Will White, Zeke Snyder, Tim Bacon, Eddie Standridge, Marshal Watson and Wayne King serving as casket bearers and Robbie Brown serving as honorary casket bearer. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
