Lonas “Cuckle” Wall, 81, of Etowah, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020. Lonas was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. He was a pressman by trade. He was the son of Clarence and Bina Wall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Wall; sister, Clara Caruthers and husband, Joe; and brother, Carless Wall. Lonas is survived by his two sons, Scott Wall and Steve Wall (fiancée, Misty); his four granddaughters, Alexys and husband, James Wooten, Alyssa and husband, Dylan Richardson, Alayna and husband, Will Maples, and Sydney Wall; his grandson, Trent Smith; and great-grandchildren Phoenix Whitney, Elsie Smith, and Riley Wampler. He is also survived by his brother, Sam Wall and wife, Josie; sister, Alta Gambill and husband, John; sister-in-law, Darlene Wall; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at his home with his family as he requested. Thanks to Serenity Funeral Home for helping the family fulfill his requests.
