Billie Lee Reid, 85, of Englewood, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Englewood, where she served tirelessly for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Anna Lou Pickel; and sister, Shirley Smithburger. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Franklin Jerome Reid of Englewood; son and daughter-in-law, Romie Lee and Pam Reid of Englewood; daughter, Robin Rhyne of Etowah; brother, Charles Pickel of Englewood; sister, Barbara Jones of Ridge Top; granddaughter, Christi Cranfill; great-grandchildren, Blake Russell, Annie Cranfill, Heather Price, Hailey Land and Jocelyn Sewell; and several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Starr Regional Health and Rehab Center and Hospice of Chattanooga for your love and care. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at McMinn Memory Gardens with Pastor Russ Maples and the Rev. Tazz Reid officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
