Jess is survived by his wife, Janna Hawkins of Delano; daughter, Susan Elaine Guinn of Riceville; son, Michael Anthony Guinn of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sister, Charlotte “Sissy” and Jimmy Miller of Nashville; several nieces; and his faithful furry “kids,” Romey and Cinnamon. Special thanks for the compassionate care provided by Amedisys Hospice of Athens, his “love him like a son” friend Dr. Charles Cox, true and wonderful friend Dennis Waters of Benton, and the support and many visits by his Bojangles’ buddies.
