Morning Pointe residents spend time crafting

Morning Pointe of Athens resident Peggy Watson displays the succulent plant holder she created out of a miniature pumpkin during a craft class at the McMinn Senior Activity Center. The assisted living community’s residents visit the center at least twice a week to socialize and participate in activities. “Our residents love the senior center,” said Morning Pointe Life Enrichment Director Diane Hutsell. “Their programs are free and it’s a great way for our residents to make new friends and enjoy socializing outside our community.”
