MCHS students visit Morning Pointe

Morning Pointe of Athens resident Bea Rowe (center) proudly shows off the pair of fuzzy socks she received from McMinn County High School’s Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America Club. The student group visited the assisted living center to spend time with the residents and distribute socks and slippers donated by Crescent Sock Company. “We’re always grateful to be able to partner with local schools for volunteer activities,” said Morning Pointe Life Enrichment Director Diane Hutsell. “Our residents loved the socks, but they loved being able to spend time with the young people of our community even more. It was a rewarding experience for both our residents and the students!”
