Carolyn Erhart of Athens I-75 Hardee’s was named the Shining Star for first quarter of 2019.
She was selected from over 1,200 employees in 44 restaurants. Erhart has been with the company for 15 years and is currently the master biscuit maker and a crew leader at the I-75 store.
“Carolyn is completely cross-trained and can jump into action on any position when needed. She makes top quality biscuits and people come by just to get a Carolyn biscuit,” District Manager Alice Ellison said. “They look just like the picture on the training guides. Carolyn never makes a bad comment about anyone and tries to see the good in every situation.”
“If no one else shows up to work at 4 a.m. except Carolyn, she still knows everything is going to be alright because she’s got her ace, Carolyn,” the shift leader at the I-75 store said.
The store’s general manager said he is “very grateful for Carolyn’s dedication as she has perfect attendance. She’s early, will stay late or come in on off days if needed. Carolyn is our silent weapon in a way because you don’t hear much from her, but the job she performs for us demands that we not be silent in thanking and being appreciative of her.”
