Meigs moving out of District 5-AA

DECATUR - Meigs County High School is moving on down.
The Tigers, currently competing in Class 2-A in all sports except football, where they are a 3-A team, is moving down a division after the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) released its statewide classification breakdown by student population on Wednesday. The new classifications are configured based on the enrollment figures from the current school year, which has Meigs listed with 502 students.
