David Runion, 72, of Cleveland, died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at his residence.
He was a member of the Church of God of Cleveland and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a self-employed painter and a sportsman who liked to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Hobert and Nancy Ella Moss Runion.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Childress Tinsman Runion; two stepchildren, Kenneth Tinsman and Danny Tinsman; three brothers, Joseph Paul Runion and his wife, Shelia Francine, of Riceville, and Charles Hoyt Runion and his wife, Genevieve, and Jessie Titus Runion and his wife, Patsy, of Cleveland; five nieces, Tonya Evans, Sheila Runion, Michelle Cross, Sherrie Lee Howell and Tamantha Miller; and four nephews, Brian Runion, Mark Runion, Timothy Runion and Steve Randolph.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Brother Marty Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
