Minalee Deleda Hampton Coleman, 73, of Athens, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Ophia Hennesee Hampton. She was a member of Clearwater Baptist Church and was a secretary for Clifford Hampton Construction Company, as well as a former employee of Tennessee Wesleyan College.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Coleman, on June 6, 2005.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Debbie Robison of Athens; one brother and sister-in-law, Clifford Hampton and Kathy Morrow of Athens; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Arveda and Garner Shelton and Nelva \"Rella\" and David Crowe, all of Athens; grandchildren, Danny Robison and Amber Hiefnar, Shakota Robison and LaShea Robison; three extended grandchildren, Jerison Robison, Paisley Robison and Tylee Robison; four great-grandchildren, Christian Robison, Cecilia Robison, Race Dupree Robison and Halana Robison; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Porter officiating. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Clearwater Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harold Shelton, Tommy Leamon, Danny Robison, Trey Jackson, Clifton Hampton, Jeff \"Harold\" Monroe and Matt Wallis.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
