Mildred Sue Woodby Givens, 84, of Sweetwater, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Sweetwater Hospital.
She was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church of Sweetwater and was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gerome Givens; her mother, Duffie Woodby Dotson; and one brother, Lloyd Woodby.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Ron Wilcox and Vickey and Larry Cook, all of Niota, and Debbie and Mike Atkins of Sweetwater; four sons and daughters-in-law, James and Pat Givens of Niota, and Danny and Kathy Givens, Randy and Hayley Givens and Johnny and Judy Woodby, all of Sweetwater; one sister-in-law, Georgia Woodby of Sweetwater; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friends, Harold King and Evelyn McConkey; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kyker Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Lewis Webb officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday in Christianburg Cemetery.
