Mark Todd Gunn Sr., 48, of Ten Mile, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Sweetwater Hospital.

A native of Bowling Green, Ky., and a longtime resident of Meigs County, he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Gunn; and two sisters, Joyce Gunn and Gloria Roby. He attended Peakland Baptist Church.

Survivors include his former wife, Linda Gunn of Decatur; five daughters and one son-in-law, Tosha Gunn, Jessica Gunn, Mary and Josh Toler and Alice Gunn, all of Decatur, and Shalyn Bradfield of Ten Mile; two sons, Mark Gunn Jr. of Decatur, and Samuel Young of Ten Mile; 12 grandchildren; his father and mother, Richard Gearld Gunn and Alice Faye Hopper Gunn Silvers of Ten Mile; one brother, Gregory Gunn of Cross City, Fla.; four sisters, Lilian Dobson, Debora Foster, Tonya Rogers and Carrie Lowe, all of Louisiana; his fiancée, Shannon Young of Ten Mile; two aunts, Dianne Grobmeier and Margaret Harper, both of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Ratledge officiating. Burial will follow in Roberts Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Josh Toler, Michael Hunt, John Williams, Ryan Hunt and Angel Padilla.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
