Tincy Linda Standridge, 66, of Athens, died on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at her residence.
A native of McMinn County and a former resident of Decatur, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Taylor and Altie Mae Dunn Howell. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of Five Point Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jean Dolph of Cleveland, and Reda Marie Eddington of Oak Ridge; one grandson, Alan Dolph; her former husband, Franklin Cansler; and caregivers and special friends, Charles Britton Jr., Tammy Maddox and Reed and Sandra Britton of Athens.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Payne officiating. Burial followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
The family received friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
