Matthew Loy Daniels, 15, of Sweetwater, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sweetwater where he was active with the church youth group. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Loy \"Buddy\" Daniels; an uncle, Mike Daniels; and a cousin, Aimie King.
Survivors include his parents, Marc and Joy Daniels of Sweetwater; two sisters, Isabella and Jillianne Daniels, both of Sweetwater; grandparents, Don and Patsy Iles and Maxine Daniels of Dayton; an uncle, Greg Iles and wife, Misty, of Chattanooga; a cousin, Fallyn Iles of Chattanooga; an uncle, David Daniels and wife, Connie, of Dayton; cousins, Drew and Hunter Daniels, both of Dayton; an aunt, Debbie King; and cousins, Ben King of Evansville, Mandi Moffitt of Chattanooga, Cassie Brown and Diana Massengale, both of Oak Ridge, and Cala Lefevre of Harriman.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Sweetwater.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Matthew Daniels Memorial Fund.
