William Grady Meadows, 66, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013.
He was of the Baptist faith, and was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Franklin and Becky Pilkey Meadows; and three brothers, Clyde, Frank and Danny Meadows.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Ann Meadows of Decatur; three sons and two daughter-in-laws, Keith and Robin Meadows of Decatur, Adam Clay Meadows and special friend, Misti Brock, of Cleveland, and Gary and Crystal Meadows of Cleveland; four brothers and one sister-in-law, Leroy and Dora Meadows of Decatur, Howard Meadows of Cleveland, and Billy Meadows and Kenny Meadows, both of Decatur; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Bobbie Jean Fagg of Loudon, Anna Sue Tilley of Decatur, and Fay and Herbie Stokes of Chattanooga; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Rymer officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Decatur.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
