Zelda Faye Wilkins Ferry, 83, of Sweetwater and formerly of Englewood, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
A native and longtime resident of Englewood and most recently a resident of Sweetwater for the last two years, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Annis Martin Wilkins and was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Wanda Wilkins. She was a former employee of Etowah Industries and was a member of First Church of God of Englewood.
Survivors include one sister, JoAnn Mitchell of Sweetwater; one niece and her husband, Robin Wilkins and Johnny Lamb of Riceville; and one great-niece, Jessica Lamb.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Cummins officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Chestua Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
