Lillice Marie Arwood Jeralds, 87, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at her residence.



Born in Madisonville, she spent most of her life in Englewood and was a lifelong member of Englewood Church of God. She loved her church, her family, knitting and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Jeralds, who passed away in 1988; her parents, Cheatle Larkin and Ida Angeline Hull Arwood; four children, Willard Arwood Jr., Gwendolyn Simonds, Olivia Jane Jeralds and Daniel Ray Jeralds; two granddaughters, Bethany Suzanne Jeralds and Penny Louise Jeralds; three brothers, James, Jack and Fred Arwood; and one sister, Kathleen Arwood McConkey.



Survivors include her children, Doug Jeralds and his wife, Debbie, of Soddy-Daisy, Frankie Jeralds and his wife, Mary Sue, of Englewood, Vicki Jeralds Belcher of Englewood, David Jeralds of Etowah, and Angie Hagins and her husband, Derrick, of Etowah; two sisters, Johnnie Ruth Bibee and her husband, Verlin, of Madisonville, and Barbara Jean Foxx of Sweetwater; four brothers, R.C. Arwood and his wife, Shirley, of Madisonville, Bud Arwood and his wife, Charlotte, of Madisonville, Junior Arwood and his wife, Connie, of Athens, and Drs. Don Arwood and his wife, Jana, of Knoxville; one brother-in-law, Ben Simonds; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home of Etowah with Pastor Scott Cardin officiating



Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunrise Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services.



The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.



Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children\'s Research Hospital.
