Vicki \"Sissy\" Franklin Clowers, 44, of Athens, passed away on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Earl W. Franklin and was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ford Clayton; paternal grandparents, Jack and Daisy Free Franklin. She was a former employee of Life Care Center of Athens.
Survivors include her mother, Barbara \"Bobbie\" Clayton Everett of Athens; one sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and Scotty Watson of Athens; one brother, Jeff Franklin of Athens; maternal grandmother, Mildred Clayton Palmer and her husband, James \"Nosey\" Palmer, of Athens; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Lewis officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
