David L. Richardson, 69, of Sweetwater, died on Thursday Dec. 13, 2012.
He was of the Baptist faith, and a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Agnes Richardson; and two sisters, Peggy Allman and Rita Raper.
Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Anthony and Tonya Richardson of Benton, Eric Richardson of West Palm Beach, Fla., and David Dowd of Massachusetts; one daughter, Linda Dowd of Massachusetts; three grandchildren, Clayton and Caylie Richardson, and Chase Richardson; two brothers, John and Wayne Richardson, both of Sweetwater; one sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Robert Clark of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet at 1:15 p.m. Monday at Sweetwater Memorial Park for a 1:30 p.m. graveside service with Pastor Nick Herron officiating.
