Lillian Ethyl Hadorn, 96, of Sweetwater, went peacefully to her Lord early Wednesday morning, Dec. 12, 2012, at Wood Village with her family by her side.
She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was born on July 8, 1916, in Knoxville, the daughter of the late J.C. and Cordellia Holt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick M. Hadorn, in 1993; a son, Frederick David Hadorn, in 1998; three brothers; and three sisters. She was a faithful member of Murray\'s Baptist Church for 65 years.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Phil and Judy Hadorn of Athens, Marlion and Alice Berry of Acworth, Ga., Ronny and Charlotte Hadorn of Sweetwater, and Debbie and Don Kyle of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Grandsons Kenny, Jarrett, Randy and Jeff Hadorn, Daniel Kyle and Bill Cannon will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Kyker Funeral Homes with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. in Kyker\'s Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Lawson officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Murrays Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
