Ronnie S. Stewart, 71, of Etowah, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Woods Memorial Hospital.
A lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was retired from Damy Industries and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Proyce and Edith Davis Stewart; one brother, Terry Stewart; and an infant sister.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Eva Pauline Sneed Stewart; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Kenny Stewart, Jody and Michael Long, and Bobbie and Ray Brown, all of Etowah; one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Rena Stewart of Etowah; grandchildren and spouses, Jimmy and Christy Stewart, Jason and Lacy Stewart, Shelby Stewart and Josh Brown, all of Etowah, and Jeremy and Deanna Stewart of Englewood; and four great-grandchildren, Jalynn, Carly, Joseph and Emily.
Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Doyle Lloyd officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ronnie\'s memory to the East Etowah First Church of God.
