Betty Jean Arnwine, 70, of Meigs County, died Thursday evening, Dec. 6, 2012, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.
She was a homemaker in which she enjoyed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Arnwine; her father, John Winton, and mother, Lastie Stone Winton; three brothers, John Ben, Hillary and Eugene Winton; and two sisters, Helen Robinson and Louise Clark.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter and son-in-law, Krista Faye Arnwine and Bruce Parks of Cleveland; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael and Sister Arnwine and Robert Arnwine Jr., all of Athens; one brother, Thomas L. Winton; one sister, Janie C. Johnson of Athens; four grandchildren, Rozlin Arnwine, Judy Arnwine, Sister Arnwine and Steven Anthony Billups, all of Knoxville; one sister-in-law, Mary E. Winton of Athens; two great-grandchildren, Cameron Billups and Olivia Billups; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Leuty McDermott officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lanetown Cemetery in Niota.
