Wilma \"Jean\" Puett Yarbrough, 77, of Athens, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Powell Puett and was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Judy Kristin Yarbrough; one brother, Jackie Puett; and one sister, Judy Ables. She retired from Athens Manufacturing Company and was a member of Mt. Verd Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Johnny O. Yarbrough of Athens; one daughter and son-in-law, Francie and Mark Wattenbarger of Athens; one son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Debbie Yarbrough of Athens; five grandchildren, Shannon Ramirez and her husband, Diego, of Cleveland, Amy Beheler of Niota, Brad Yarbrough and his wife, Jessie, of Etowah, and Kevin Wattenbarger and Kyle Wattenbarger, both of Athens; three great-grandchildren, Carlee Beheler, Fischer Yarbrough and Hayden Yarbrough; two step-great-grandchildren, Angela Ramirez and Brian Ramirez; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and James Cox of Englewood, and Linda and Don Ghorley of Athens; and one sister-in-law, Helen \"Dellie\" Price of Athens.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Kennedy officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. Sunday in McMinn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Brad Yarbrough, Kevin Wattenbarger, Kyle Wattenbarger, Diego Ramirez, Eddie Walker and Don Ghorley.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
