Chuckie Lee Robinson Jr., 37, of Athens, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at his home.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a son of the late Chuckie Lee Robinson Sr., and was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edger and Mousiey Robinson; and his maternal grandparents, J.L. and Kattie Lankford. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Dylan Robinson of Berlin, Wis., and Tyler Robinson of Seymour; his mother, Clara Mae Lankford Robinson of Sweetwater; his stepfather, Joe Goodman of Sweetwater; one sister, Tammie Robinson of Sweetwater; his fianc�©e, Donna Sue Riggins of Athens; two nephews, Dustin Lee Robinson and Malcolm Scott Robinson; one great-nephew, Dontay Robinson; several uncles, J.C. Lankford, Clarence Lankford, Freddie Lankford, Ernest Lankford, Ralph Lankford, Daniel Robinson and Junior Robinson; and two aunts, Louise Willis and Judy Hill.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Freddie Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Clearwater Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Robinson, Charles Dockery, Timmy Lankford, Michael Reno, Malcolm Robinson, Calvin Lankford, William Smith and Ed Williams.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ziegler Funeral Home.
