Rozetta Bidwell Curtis, 73, of Madisonville, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at her home.
She was born in Meigs County on July 4, 1939, and was a former resident of Loudon. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Gertrude Meadows Bidwell; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, L.D. and Erma V. Curtis; one niece, Gayla Curtis; and one sister-in-law, Pat Bidwell.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Jim Curtis; her children and their spouses, the Rev. Tony and Teresa Curtis of Madisonville, and Sandra and Tony Schrimsher of Loudon; grandsons, Dustin Schrimsher and his fiancée, Rachel Mayton, Kendall and Genesis Schrimsher, Chasen Curtis and his fiancée, Brooke Tallent, and Chamon Curtis; one granddaughter, Chanda Curtis; one great-granddaughter, Chole Schrimsher; two brothers and one sister-in-law, David Bidwell and Elwood and Ruby Bidwell; one sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Bobby Dennis; one brother-in-law, Ralph Curtis and his wife, Wanda; and many wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Price and the Rev. Randy Humphreys officiating. Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
