Lynda Ruth Scoggins Bohannon, 63, of Athens, died Tuesday night, Oct. 9, 2012, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native of Cleveland and a longtime resident of Athens, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Maggie Woods Scoggins and was a former employee of E.K. Baker School.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Harold Bohannon of Athens; two sons and one daughter-in-law, William Bohannon of Knoxville, and Ben and Kim Bohannon of Athens; four grandchildren, Rani, Zayne, Ryan and Caymen Bohannon; and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Bohannon Family Cemetery.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ziegler Funeral Home.
