Vera Marie Martin, 57, of Englewood, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at her mother\'s residence.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Spencer Martin and was a member of Englewood Church of God.

Survivors include her mother, Gladys Cook Martin of Englewood; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Steve McKheean of Englewood, Connie and Randy Collake of Madisonville, and Sylvia and Kenny Hutsell and Lisa and Bobby Hennessee, all of Athens; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Joey Martin and Randall and Sandy Martin, all of Englewood; a special friend, Jeanette Wilson of Etowah; two great-nephews, Gage and Hunter Martin, both of Englewood; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Doyle Lloyd officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in McMinn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ian Burris, Todd Martin, Brian Hysell, Jeremy Martin, James Whitener and Kenny Hutsell.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
