John Harrison Smith Jr. of Decatur died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.
Survivors include his wife, Tamra Smith; six sons, Daryl Labron Smith, John Harrison Smith III, Coty Philip Swanson, Devin Craig Swanson, Brenden Cal Swanson and Kiefer Ryen Swanson; his mother, Rose Goins; two brothers, Richard Thomas Harden and Stephen Roy Harden; three sisters, Judy Garrett, Bennie Smith Flanigan and Johnnie Smith Daniels; and one grandchild.
Graveside services were 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Sandel and the Rev. Aaron Simmons officiating.
The family received friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
