Ernest \"Dank\" Holcomb, 63, of Englewood, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harve and Cora Holcomb; one sister, Myrtle Mason; and three brothers, Amos and U.L. Baker and Robert Holcomb. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Holcomb of Englewood; three daughters, Paige, Stephanie and Tabitha Holcomb, all of Englewood; one granddaughter, Brianna Goforth; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Velma and Marce Shaw, Winnie Rodgers and Ruth Holcomb, all of Englewood, and Willa Mae and Charlie Parrish of Belle Glade, Fla.; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Homer and Linda Holcomb and Athel Baker, all of Englewood, and Rex and Kay Baker of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were 11 a.m. Monday at Ebenezer Cemetery with the Rev. Vernon Webb officiating.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home.
