Henry Lewis Mullins, 74, of Decatur, died Thursday morning, June 14, 2012, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native and lifelong resident of Meigs County, he was a son of the late Sam Jackson \"Boyd\" and Ollie Mae Walker Mullins, and was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Sliger; and one half-brother, Kenneth Walker. He was a former employee of the Meigs County Board of Education for 23 years.
Survivors include one stepbrother, Cass Hickman and his wife, Shirley, of Decatur; two stepsisters, Maxine McKenzie and Louise Peak, both of Decatur; one sister, Reba Nell Martin of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike King officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
