Wilma Jean Martin, 64, of Madisonville, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father, James C. Matoy; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, J.D. and Mina Rhea Martin.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Donald Ray Martin; one daughter, Kristie Rebecca Martin of Madisonville; her mother, Essie B. Matoy of Tellico Plains; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Emma and Arlin Hamby of Tellico Plains, and Judy Matoy of Easley, S.C.; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, James D. and Debbie Matoy and Randy and Holly Matoy, all of Sweetwater, Rex Matoy of Spartanburg, S.C., and Jimmy Matoy of Carthage; several other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Niles Dockery officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home.
Biereley-Hale Funeral Home of Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
