Shannon Esteen Blackburn, 79, of Chattanooga, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at her residence.
A native of McMinn County and a resident of Chattanooga for more than 50 years, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Clayton and Martha Teague Burrows. She was a former employee of Loveman\'s Department Store and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Joy and Lola Burrows of Rossville, Ga.; one sister, Rita Burrows Manasco of Chattanooga; three nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home. Burial followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
The family received friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
