Harry C. Johnson Jr., 87, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at his home.
He was the owner of Johnson Real Estate and managed several apartment complexes in this area. Last week was the first week he was not in his office for many, many years.
A memorial service is scheduled to be held Sunday, May 20, at 2 p.m. at Keith Memorial United Methodist Church.
The family will visit with friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the E.G. Fisher Public Library, 1289 Ingleside Ave., Athens, TN 37303; or to the Keith Memorial UMC Nourish a Child Program, P.O. Box 1, Athens, TN 37371-0001.; or your favorite charity.
Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of arrangements.
