Terrance Riley Smith, 45, of Niota, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, in Chattanooga.
He was a graduate of McMinn County High School, where he participated in sports, and was an avid fisherman. He loved and enjoyed his loud music and singing and was employed at Dynasty Spas of Athens.
He was preceded in death by twin sons, Quyton Dewey Smith and Trynton Riley Smith; and one brother, Chris E. Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Misty Britton-Hubbs of Athens; his mother, Ella Mae Moore of Niota; one son, Terrance Gucci Smith of Athens; three daughters and one son-in-law, Jessica and Charles Rogers of Riceville, Ashley King of Athens, and Georgia Faith Hubbs; five brothers and two sisters-in-law, James B. and Carolyn Smith of Madisonville, David Smith of California, Lloyd Ronnie and Victoria Smith of Niota, Marcus J. Smith of Cleveland, and Timothy D. Smith of Niota; one sister and brother-in-law, Nancy Jeanette and Tony Moore of Niota; aunts and uncles; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Greater Deliverance Ministries with Elder Karen Nash officiating. Burial will follow in Lanetown Cemetery in Niota.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the church. Visitation by friends will begin after noon Saturday at M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home.
