Harold Dwayne Bryson, 65, of Etowah, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at his residence.
A native of Cleveland, he served six years in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a son of the late Layton and Frances Bryson. He was preceded in death by one brother, C.L. Bryson.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lisa Bryson of Englewood; two daughters and one son-in-law, Teri and David Onbey and Tonya Brown, all of Etowah; two brothers, Jimmy Bryson of Benton, and Lynn Bryson of Ringgold, Ga.; two sisters, Joan Bush and Tracy Alexander, both of Cleveland; grandchildren, Sara, Caleb, Michael, Josh, Kiera, Anika, Logan and Noah; and a special friend, Margaret Bryson of Etowah.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Pete Morgan officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday, and will proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11 a.m. burial with military honors.
Pallbearers will be Duane Bain, Joshua Bain, Michael Bain, Caleb Bryson, Terry Vaughn and David Wingate.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
